As we get bigger maps in future - we need MOOOOOOAAAR colors :D question why? answer - WHY NOT? :) But really everyone agree - more players/colors - more fun 8-) :) ;)

I noted that you want unlimited number of colours... )) Specially for maps where every hex is a start position of separate player. :D
